Jaffe Insurance Agency was founded in 1948 by Leon Jaffe, father and grand-father of the current management team, as an independent insurance agency. In 1972, Leon Jaffe passed the management responsibility to his son Gary who entered the insurance industry upon his graduation from college in 1962. In point of fact, he had been involved in the business starting as an office boy at age 15 and already had been a licensed agent for several years before graduation. Gary instituted a new philosophy and level of customer service and care that was revolutionary at the time. Not satisfied with just providing good coverage at a fair price, a policy of delivering a sense of security and real caring for the customer was instituted, and the response was enormous.
The agency grew exponentially as it hired and trained a staff of professionals capable of executing and providing this new concept in service. In 1992, Craig Jaffe joined the firm upon his college graduation, and today is Vice-President, COO and CFO of the agency.
